Back to Reality
We are on our last day of our California adventure, and my heart aches a little at the thought of going back to Texas. I love where I live, but California was and always will be my true home.
It has been a whirlwind of a trip, and I could easily see us spending another week here just to truly relax and take in everything that this beautiful place has to offer, not to mention spending more time with family and friends that we haven’t seen in years.
BUT, the kiddos are tired and a little homesick, so it is time to return to real life. The good thing is, now I’ve got some good notes on how to make this trip (which I’ve decided to make an annual event) even better next year.
I’ll share those notes with you on Friday after we get settled in and get our photos edited and everything. In the mean time, I’ll share some of my best photos (from my phone).
