Happy Friday, guys! I hope everyone had a fantastic week! Today we are busy getting the house/yard cleaned up for the kiddos to do some Easter egg hunting this weekend. Yesterday, however, we ambled (apropos, no?) down to the Arboretum for some shopping and tea, and I took my new favorite dress for a whirl.

yellow floral sleeveless casual midi dress

Y'all.

This dress is the best-fitting garment I have purchased in a looooong time. After baby number three, losing/gaining weight, hips getting wider and all that, I have struggled in the last couple years to find clothes that didn't need tailoring to fit my newfound pear shape.

Now, normally fit-and-flare style dresses are a no-brainer for curvy gals. But for some reason, they always make me feel frumpy. Not this dress, though! Just the right length, just the right fit in the bust, and the skirt is full enough to accommodate my hips, but not so full that it's overbearing.

(Side Note: We finally got my sleeve fully colored and I'm so excited about it!)

Just look at the swish on that skirt! Did I mention that it's light and airy without needing a slip underneath? Hallelujah!

short blue hair pink cat eye sunglasses gold fringe earrings

Isn't this just the cutest print? Perfect to go with all the lavender accessories that are popping up this season! P.S.: it also comes in plain black, and a navy-backed floral if you're not into yellow.

It also actually covers my knees when I sit down, which is like, unheard of (seriously, my legs are stupid long).

red flowers kangaroo paw

That's about it for my commentary... so here's an artsy-fartsy shot just for kicks!

On another note, this cutie is turning one in a couple of weeks! Baby number three and I still can't believe how fast time flies in the first year. He'll be needing his first haircut soon too, but I think I'm going to put it off as long as I possibly can.

#momproblems.

Enough about me, though, what do you have planned for this weekend? Also, do you have a favorite dress that is your go-to? Let me know in the comments below!

Much Love,

Michelle
