Back-to-School Capsule Wardrobe for Less than $150 at Target
Happy Friday Amblers!
As I mentioned in last week's post, back-to-school season is upon us. If you're in Texas, today marks the start of tax-free weekend. I'm still not sure if I want to save some money and have a panic attack trying to shop this weekend, or if I should save my sanity and go shopping Monday. Not gonna lie, y'all, I would rather get a tooth pulled than go shopping on Black Friday, and Tax-Free Weekend is basically the same thing.
Today I've got two capsule wardrobes picked out for you from The Happiest Place on Earth (aka Target). I really wanted to put these together for you in an infographic-type image like last week's wardrobes from Old Navy. Alas, I couldn't find flat-lay images for many of these pieces, so I'm stuck with a boring photo gallery. Sad face.
Both of these capsules come in at under $150, including shoes and outerwear. Target has some great prices right now on 2-packs of leggings and t-shirts, and the Cat & Jack graphic tees are always super cute and reasonably priced.
Let's check 'em out!

Seriously, Target has such great basics for kids. Most of these come in different colors, so if your little lady is more into teal or purple, you can go that route as well. And I seriously wish they had that "What's Poppin?" shirt in my size. So cute!
My oldest has the navy version of these glitter slip-on sneakers, and she loves them! I also love slip-ons just for the fact that they're really quick and easy when you just do not have the time for them to be struggling with shoes in the morning.

It was a little harder to find inexpensive outerwear and shoes for boys, but thankfully the lack of a need for dresses means that you can spend a little more on those items ;)
I love the astronaut tee and the dinosaur button-down because I feel like they're such a refreshingly different style than the typical "football stud" graphic or plaid button-down. And these 2-pack pull-on pants are a Godsend!

That's it for today! Be sure to tune in on Monday, because I'll be sharing my capsules for boys and girls from H&M! Saving the best for last, because they have some great deals! Have an amazing weekend, and don't forget to comment and let me know what you back-to-school shopping game plan is!
