Airport Chic OOTD

We've finally reached the big day!! In a few hours, we'll be on our way to the Motherland! I could not be more excited, but I am a little nervous about this plane ride with three kids (one being on my lap the whole time).

In honor of our big flight, I thought I'd share what I'll be wearing on the plane (although in these pictures, I'm actually at Nordstrom and not at the airport, lol).

Being that it's June, it's going to be super hot both here and in Cali, but I always like to bring an extra layer for the flight, since I get cold so easily. This open-front cardigan from Old Navy is my recent favorite because it's got a nice solid knit, but it's still super lightweight. It's also long enough to cover my legs a bit in case they get cold.

I chose these denim shorts that have a little spandex in the weave, so they're nice and comfy, but they won't be too hot. I also love this rayon button-down for it's relaxed fit and cool-to-the-touch fabric.

In last Monday's post, I mentioned wearing your bulkiest shoes on the plane to conserve space in your luggage. These slip-on Vans are my bulkiest pair outside of my heels (which I'm obviously not going to wear on the plane), so they are my shoe of choice for flying. Doesn't hurt that they're super comfortable and easy to put on.

For my carry-on, I'm using this weekender bag from Target, which I love because it's soft and durable. It also comes with a shoulder strap for ease of use, and it's got a pocket on the front that's perfect for holding a small card case (I like this one from Amazon), and a phone, for easy access.

I'm also bringing a spare outfit of leggings and a comfy tank just in case baby boy has any accidents that require a change. I can roll those up nice and slim and slip them into my carry-on no prob.

That's it for my airport outfit! Simple and comfy. Scroll on down for details on where to get it!

Life Update: The girls have been asking for the longest time to have a haircut like mine, so I finally gave in (after almost a year). We figured since it's summer, it would be a good time to go for it, and we can give them pixie cuts when they start school, if need be. They love them!!

Have a great weekend, y'all!

Much Love,

Michelle
