Happy Hump Day! We're having some straight-up HOT weather here in Texas this week, so I've been thinking about how to improve my SPF routine.
Now that I'm over thirty, it's super important to maintain protection against the sun to keep my skin looking its best, but I need something that won't wear my makeup off on my non-vacay days.
Of course I also want to protect my sweet babies for their health and safety as well, so I need some items for sensitive skin with easy application. Here's some of my most-wanted items to keep in my sun protection kit this summer.

First up, let's talk about the face. Not only is it important to shield your cheeks, chin, and forehead, but but the delicate skin on your eyes and lips as well. Furthermore, it's good to have something lightweight, as well as a touch-up for workdays when you still need protection but don't want a greasy face.
Laneige is one of my most coveted brands right now, and I love that they thought to include SPF in their cushion concealer. My first concern with aging right now is the skin around my eyes, so I feel like this concealer will soon be my best friend. P.S.: Laneige is offering a free on-the-go Hydration Kit with any $75 purchase! This is a dry skin gal's dream, so click here to grab yours!
The Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist and Invincible Setting Powder are great options when you need an SPF refresh without killing your makeup.
Finally, a good BB cream or straight up sunscreen specially formulated for your face is always a good thing to carry in your purse. I really like that the skin tint from Milk Makeup has a rollerball applicator - perfect for on-the-go application!
I (like most women, I'm sure) prefer sunscreens that don't leave my skin feeling greasy but still pack a punch when it comes to sun protection. This is especially important for anybody with tattoos, since SPF is critical when it comes to preserving your ink.
All of these screens have been revered for their lightweight, silky application. I love that Alba thought to use a lavender scent rather than a typical coconut or citrus. And Bare Republic offers a great sport sunscreen, so I'm curious to try their citrus-scented spray on sunscreen.
AmorePacific is another brand that I have been wanting to try, and their Sun Protection Mist is said to actually help cool already exposed skin, so it would be great to carry around in your bag.
Yes, your hair needs protection from the sun, too! Not only does the heat damage your strands (hello, hot styling tools), but the sun can zap your color. All these products are specifically formulated with SPF protection to help keep your strands looking sleek all summer.
Of course we need sun protection for the littles, too! I love BabyBum's sunscreen stick for keeping handy in my purse just in case. It's also a good idea to have a cute sun hat for the kiddos for extra protection. Old Navy offers some great options.
In case you forget your sunscreen (which by now you have no excuse for!), or maybe you forgot to reapply it, these bad boys will help your skin to cool down and heal. I am in love with Pacifica beauty, and can't wait to try this blood orange-scented After Sun Spray.
That's it for this Wishlist Wednesday! What are your favorite SPF products to use in the summer? Tell me in the comments, and don't forget to Pin this post for future reference!
